Shivoham — "I am consciousness itself" — is not just a name. It is a way of hosting. Every room was built by local hands, every meal grown in our permaculture garden, every teacher a lifelong practitioner.
We started this retreat because we believed that the best kind of hospitality is invisible — where everything is taken care of so deeply that you forget to count what's included. Where the only agenda is your own rest.
We stay small on purpose. So we can know your name, remember how you take your chai, and notice when something unspoken needs tending.
Three rooms. That is all. Not because we couldn't build more, but because we know exactly how many guests we can hold with full attention. When you're here, you have the house — not a fraction of it.
We don't fill your stay with activities, notifications, or structured programmes. The silence of the Himalayas is something we protect fiercely. Every design decision — from the rooms to the garden — is made to keep it intact.
The food comes from our garden or from farms within 20 kilometres. The craftsmen who built the rooms live in the village below. Every rupee we spend stays in the community that makes this landscape what it is.

We are not managers who commute in. We live here — in the same house, in the same valley. When you wake to the sound of birds, we are already in the kitchen. When the fog comes in at dusk, we are in the garden watching it too.
